He is the chief expert of major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, a young talent in the national major talent project, and the first batch of "ShiDa Scholars" of the university.From 1998 to 2005, he studied at Tsinghua University and obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in engineering (excellent degree thesis of the university). From 2005 to 2008, he studied at Kyoto University in Japan and obtained a doctorate in energy economics (MEXT scholarship). From 2009 to 2013, he worked as an assistant professor at the Energy Science Research Institute of Kyoto University. In 2013, he returned to China and worked at China University of Petroleum (Beijing), where he was appointed as a professor and doctoral supervisor. Since 2014, he has served as the deputy dean of the School of Economics and Management, the deputy and then the president of the China Energy Strategy Research Institute.He has long been engaged in research on energy economics and management, energy strategy and policy. In the past five years, he has published over 30 high-level papers in SCI/SSCI JCR Q1 and Chinese A-class journals in the field of management as the first/corresponding author. He has hosted more than 10 research projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Beijing Municipal Social Science Fund, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration, etc. His research results have been recognized and approved by leaders at various levels, and have been applied and adopted in important publicly released plans and regulations. He has won more than 10 scientific research awards, including the third prize of the 8th Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the first prize of the National Energy Administration's Soft Science Research Outstanding Achievement Award (the highest award in the field of energy soft science, only 6 in the country), the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award (individual), and the third prize of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation's Scientific and Technological Progress Award. He has been selected as a young talent in the national major talent project, the first batch of "ShiDa Scholars" of the university, and an innovative talent in Chinese think tanks, leading the China Energy Strategy Research Institute to be selected as a "Core Think Tank in China" (Class A in universities).He serves as the deputy editor of Petroleum Science, a leading journal in China's science and technology, and an editorial board member of Sustainability, CSSCI extended journals such as Chinese Environmental Management, and Petroleum Science Bulletin. He has been invited to serve as a reviewer for more than 20 high-level journals in the field of energy economics and management at home and abroad, as well as a director and expert committee member of multiple academic societies in the field of energy economics and management. He has been invited to publish articles on energy strategy in People's Daily's People's Forum "National Governance" and "Academic Frontier," been interviewed by CCTV's "World Finance," and published comments on energy market reforms. He has been invited to deliver keynote speeches and training courses by multiple well-known academic organizations, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, and energy industry enterprises at home and abroad over 60 times.He has hosted 4 innovative international joint training projects funded by the China Scholarship Council, guiding students to win more than 30 awards such as the sixth National Outstanding Master's Degree Thesis Award in Finance (only 30 in the country), Beijing Excellent Graduate, National Scholarship, and Excellent Paper Award at the Annual Conference of the Society. He is the chief expert of major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, a young talent in the national major talent project, and the first batch of "ShiDa Scholars" of the university.From 1998 to 2005, he studied at Tsinghua University and obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in engineering (excellent degree thesis of the university). From 2005 to 2008, he studied at Kyoto University in Japan and obtained a doctorate in energy economics (MEXT scholarship). From 2009 to 2013, he worked as an assistant professor at the Energy Science Research Institute of Kyoto University. In 2013, he returned to China and worked at China University of Petroleum (Beijing), where he was appointed as a professor and doctoral supervisor. Since 2014, he has served as the deputy dean of the School of Economics and Management, the deputy and then the president of the China Energy Strategy Research Institute.He has long been engaged in research on energy economics and management, energy strategy and policy. In the past five years, he has published over 30 high-level papers in SCI/SSCI JCR Q1 and Chinese A-class journals in the field of management as the first/corresponding author. He has hosted more than 10 research projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Beijing Municipal Social Science Fund, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration, etc. His research results have been recognized and approved by leaders at various levels, and have been applied and adopted in important publicly released plans and regulations. He has won more than 10 scientific research awards, including the third prize of the 8th Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the first prize of the National Energy Administration's Soft Science Research Outstanding Achievement Award (the highest award in the field of energy soft science, only 6 in the country), the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award (individual), and the third prize of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation's Scientific and Technological Progress Award. He has been selected as a young talent in the national major talent project, the first batch of "ShiDa Scholars" of the university, and an innovative talent in Chinese think tanks, leading the China Energy Strategy Research Institute to be selected as a "Core Think Tank in China" (Class A in universities).He serves as the deputy editor of Petroleum Science, a leading journal in China's science and technology, and an editorial board member of Sustainability, CSSCI extended journals such as Chinese Environmental Management, and Petroleum Science Bulletin. He has been invited to serve as a reviewer for more than 20 high-level journals in the field of energy economics and management at home and abroad, as well as a director and expert committee member of multiple academic societies in the field of energy economics and management. He has been invited to publish articles on energy strategy in People's Daily's People's Forum "National Governance" and "Academic Frontier," been interviewed by CCTV's "World Finance," and published comments on energy market reforms. He has been invited to deliver keynote speeches and training courses by multiple well-known academic organizations, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, and energy industry enterprises at home and abroad over 60 times.He has hosted 4 innovative international joint training projects funded by the China Scholarship Council, guiding students to win more than 30 awards such as the sixth National Outstanding Master's Degree Thesis Award in Finance (only 30 in the country), Beijing Excellent Graduate, National Scholarship, and Excellent Paper Award at the Annual Conference of the Society.
