Li Zhou 

Professor

Education Background: Graduated from Shaanxi Normal University in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree; Graduated from Southwest China Normal University in 2001 with a Master's Degree.

Research Direction: Communication Studies in Central Asia

Courses Taught: Mainly teaches courses such as "News Interviewing and Writing," "Specialized News Reporting," and "Advanced News Writing." A dual-qualified teacher, also serves as a part-time editor for the "Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics News" and as a commentator for the Xinjiang Radio and Television Administration and Xinjiang Television.

  2. Research on the Image of Xinjiang in External Propaganda (2016BXW086), a regional social science fund project, 2016-2018, currently ongoing, principal investigator.

  3. Research on Television Culture in the Construction of Modern Culture in Xinjiang (2013XYB028), a project of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, 2013-2016, principal investigator, with good results.

  4. Practical Exploration and Effect Analysis of Cultivating Students' News Writing Abilities, a project of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, 2010-2013, principal investigator.

  5. Research on Xinjiang Television Culture under Regional Communication - Taking Xinjiang Television as an Example, a horizontal project, principal investigator, completed in 2014.

  6. Research on the Impact of New Media Communication on the National Identity of the Main Ethnic Groups in Xinjiang (13Bxw024), a general project of the National Social Science Fund, 2013-2016, fourth author.
