To celebrate the 70th anniversary of China University of Petroleum, implement the Opinions on Strengthening Youth Sports and Enhancing Youth Physical Fitness issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, and the National Student Physical Health Standard (2014 Revision), and fully implement the implementation opinions of our school's sports work conference, the spirit of the school football activity conference, the relevant spirit of the 20th National Congress, popularize and improve the level of football in our school, and enrich students' after-school activities, the Sports Department of the School of Arts and Sciences at the Karamay Campus of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) successfully held an eleven-a-side football tournament.

In this tournament, more than 170 graduate and undergraduate students from 23 majors at the campus formed eight representative teams to participate. After intense competition in 16 matches of the group stage and knockout stage, the joint team of Chemical Engineering and Oil & Gas Storage & Transportation emerged as the champions, the joint team of Mechanical Engineering and Process Control took the second place, the joint team of Resource Exploration Engineering secured the third place, and the joint team of the School of Arts and Sciences won the award for sports ethics and conduct in this tournament.

During the competition, every participating player demonstrated bravery, perseverance, and a spirit of hard work, fully reflecting the positive significance of sports. With their excellent performances, they showcased the charm of football and added a bright color to the campus cultural life of the Karamay Campus of China University of Petroleum (Beijing).

Through this tournament, the development and improvement of football at the campus have been further promoted, creating a stronger atmosphere for campus football. It has also enhanced students' physical fitness, promoted their physical and mental health, and strengthened the connections and exchanges among students from different colleges. It has enriched students' extracurricular cultural life. In the future, the Karamay Campus of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) will continue to organize more exciting sports activities and events. With everyone's joint efforts, campus sports will thrive and develop even further.
