Overview

• The Faculty of Business Administration is one of the four faculties established in the Karamay Campus of China University of Petroleum-Beijing, which is an important part of the teaching and personnel training work of the campus. 

  
  

• The College consists of two college offices and three departments, namely the College Office and the Student Work Office, the Department of Accounting and Administration, the Department of Economics and Finance, and the Department of Marxism. The college has a relatively complete training system of undergraduate and master's degrees, full-time and part-time enrollment of a number of majors, the establishment of accounting, economics, finance, administration, ideological and political education 5 undergraduate majors and master of Business Administration. 

  
  

• At present, there are 1178 undergraduate students, including 1162 undergraduate students and 16 part-time graduate students. During the undergraduate period, full-time undergraduates in the second year or above have no less than 10% of the opportunity to go to the Beijing campus for one-year exchange study with leading universities in China, such as Central University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, University of International Business and Economics, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Xidian University, China University of Political Science and Law, etc. Enjoy the best learning resources and platforms in related disciplines.

Facts and Staff

• The college has formed a diversified faculty and management team led by national-level talents, jointly built by many famous schools, and composed of personnel at all levels. As of the end of February 2024, there are 92 faculty members on the job, including 78 full-time teachers, including 21 professors, 20 associate professors, 19 lecturers, and 18 teaching assistants.

• There are 1 young scholar of the National Major Talent Project, 1 person of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Outstanding Youth Science Fund Project, 1 young doctor of "Tianchi Talent", and 1 talent of the first "Industrial Xingke" in Karamay City. It has 2 provincial-level famous teachers, 1 famous teacher of ideological and political teaching of the Ministry of Education, 1 famous teacher's studio for ideological and political theory courses in the autonomous region, and 1 "Youth May Fourth Excellent Collective" in Karamay City.

  
  

• The college has the right to host the science and technology innovation competitions for college students in the white paper, including the student practice base of Karamay municipal government, Xinjiang Oil field Company, major financial institutions, etc., covering the social practice base for teachers and students in southern and northern Xinjiang;

  
  

• It runs research institutes such as Karamay Law Government Research Center, Urban Social Governance Modernization Research Center and Chujiao Chinese Nation Community Consciousness Research Center. It undertakes research projects including National Natural Science Foundation, Social Science Foundation key projects, surface projects, etc.

  
  

• The scientific research ability of young teachers has been continuously enhanced, and the level of scientific research projects and articles has been continuously improved. The number and level of awards won by students in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions are increasing year by year. There are many opportunities for students to exchange and study in aided universities.

    The faculty has a good development momentum, constantly strengthening the exchanges and cooperation with first-class universities at home and abroad, local governments and enterprises in various industries, and strive to become a first-class domestic college with distinctive disciplinary characteristics, excellent comprehensive quality of talents, innovative spirit and international vision.
