Welcome to Another World, another wonder.

Today,i would like to share with you a theme--The 89th Academy Awards.

February 26th 2017, the 89th Academy Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles. "La La Land" swept the Oscars, taking home 6 prizes and becoming the biggest winner. Its starring Emma Stone gained Best actress.And Casey Affleck became Best actor for "Manchester by the Sea" and . Meanwhile"Moonlight" won the Best picture.

The Academy Awards, namely the Oscars, is the world-famous awards for films. The Oscars is an annual award in recognition of achievement in the film industry.It is designed to encourage the creation and development of good movies,including a variety of types of films.There are more than 20 different awards.And It's also the world's oldest media awards which has become the world's most influential film awards. The annual award presentation ceremony will be televised live in more than 100 countries.The status of Oscars in the United States is just like Grammy Awards for music,Emmy Awards for television and the Tony Award for drama.All these awards are established following the example of the Oscars.

The best pictures statistics of Oscars from 1990 to 2006 show out of 26 films，9 are politically correct and 9 have a motivational theme.For example，Personal heroism, American values and advocating self ideal became the keywords of these films.

But in recent years, the academy's selection method has changed subtly.Works that show respect for all the filmmakers gradually stand out from"the Niche".Perhaps it comes from the criticism of Americanized Oscar.Critics and media can't tolerate the confusion of politics and the arts or let them be too close.And lots of people blame the Oscars for being strongly political , untimely and having no artistic value. So the Oscars' judges decide that they do a separation betwee politics and the arts.

Anyhow, bearing the responsibility of commending artists and passing Hollywood values , for years, the Oscars has been in the balance between being "politically correct" and having "artistic mood" . Reflecting the reality and romantic nostalgia become two major themes in the Hollywood films. But no matter what, the Oscars has been the epitame of inspiring generations of filmmakers that constantly strive for.As a result,our screens have become more fascinating.
