Another World（4）

Teachers and fellow schoolmates, we hope all of you are well. With this familiar melody, the sound of our campus radio station begins now. 

Welcome to Another World, another wonder.

Competition and cooperation seem to be two apparent opposites. But in fact, they usually co-exist in society. For example, in a sports game, no matter what skill each individual has skills are, each member must co-operate and have the spirit of cooperation while competing in teams.

Competition is a common phenomenon in our social life. When we try our best to pursue fame and wealth, we are competing. We can say that competition is a kind of force promoting the development of society in a certain sense. In school, we compete with others by doing better in our study. When we are looking for jobs, we compete with others who apply for the same position as with us. When we go to a competition, we compete fight with others for reputation. We can be stronger by competing. If we want to win against others, we must improve ourselves constantly. Consequently, our skills will also be enhanced.

In modern society, cooperation is especially necessary because except for a few craftsmen and artists, most work is achieved by teamwork. In many cases, we cannot realize any goal if there is only competition and no cooperation. Working in a team, teammates share their ideas with each other, which is helpful to create a better result achievement. Cooperation is a good way to broaden theirs horizon because they usually come from different places, possess various experiences and hold different views towards things. It is also helps people to make friends. Teammates often solve problems and share their happiness of being successful together, which makes a great contribution to establishing friendship. 

There is no doubt that our life on campus is wonderful. Various competitions like soccer, basketball, table tennis, badminton and so on are usually held in here. We can gain not only award and glory but from them, the spirit of sports through which includes competition and cooperation from them. We require through the passion and sweat us and passion to light up our youth.
