张榆平，男，1975年5月生，汉族，山西省晋中市人，博士，教授，博士生导师。1998年、2003年先后于西南交通大学获得学士、硕士学位，2007年获电子科技大学工学博士学位，之后留校在自动化工程学院任教。2013年，加拿大滑铁卢大学访问学者，2015年澳大利亚阿德莱德大学访问学者。主要研究方向为运动控制系统、新能源技术、复杂系统分析与设计等。近年来主持或参加省部级以上项目5项，横向课题6项；在国内外期刊和会议发表论文60余篇，专著1 本。
